Tent Under Snow - Laramie Mountain Range, Wyoming
This is James and Kerry's canvas wall tent at over 8,500 ft in Wyoming's Laramie Mountain Range. This was a very remote location. The nearest city was 38 miles away and the closest house was roughly 16 miles through deep snow and rugged country. It was difficult to get snowmobiles in the area so it was rare to hear a snowmobile or see anyone in the winter. Just lots of silence and fresh powder snow to play in.
Canvas Wall Tent - Bighorn Mountains, WY
James and Kerry's first tent was a canvas wall tent with a wood stove. You can see the custom built trailer on the left which includes solar panels, inverter and batteries. There was also a heat exchanger on the engine of their Jeep that allowed for unlimited hot water showers
